This water filter is suitable for all refrigerator models that have an external water filter. The external water filters are installed between the 1/4 inch plastic hose (approx. 6.3mm diameter), which is connected to the cold water pipe. Water filter suitable for Side by Side refrigerators, coolers & ice makers from all brands/manufacturers e.g:LG (5231JA2012A, BL9808, BL-9808, 5231JA2003B, ADQ73693901)and for many other models and types.

Please note:

The filter does not fit not for refrigerators that have an internal water filter. According to the appliance manufacturer's recommendation, you should always replace the water filter if:

• the corresponding warning light on your refrigerator lights up (depending on the model)
• the refrigerator has not been used for a long time
• if the water develops an odour or becomes cloudy
• or at least every 6 months to be on the safe side
